Research conducted by Empathy Research in September 2012 found that 69% of shoppers would be influenced to purchase a product by the presence of a sticker indicating it had won an award such as an Blas na hEireann Award.Respondents were also most aware of the Blas Awards, with a large majority indicating that they had heard of the awards.
Now, new research conducted by Behaviour & Attitudes in January 2013 has confirmed earlier findings, concluding that awareness of the Blas is significantly higher than for other quality food marks!
